It is safe to say that when it comes to building a custom home or buying a new home; women are the decision-makers. So here is the question that men have been asking themselves over and over-struggling to pin point a definite answer…WHAT DO WOMEN WANT?

Well, unfortunately there isn’t a definitive answer to that question because each women desires different “wants and needs”. Recent polls have shown that 58% of women prefer a larger walk-in closet in their new home over a larger diamond ring on their finger. Up until recent years, walk-in closets were mainly found in much larger-luxury homes. This is no longer the case and in fact having a walk-in closet has become a “must have” for women when building a custom new home or buying a new home. If you ask any woman what her number one choice would be on an interior wish list, the likely answer is a walk-in closet. We have Sex in the City’s Carrie Bradshaw to thank for this obsession.
